Stones Throw & HUF presents J.ROCC JAPAN TOUR 2025 – OSAKA

From LA, the world’s top indie label, Stones Throw, J.Rocc, the DJ who shakes the world with his dynamic and funky play, will be performing in Osaka at JOULE as part of his first Japan tour in two years! There’ll also be a special Live/DJ/Dance Showcase lineup from the Kansai region! A tour collaboration between Stones Throw and HUF has also been announced!

J. Rock, aka “Funky President,” formed the turntablist collective Beat Junkies in 1992 and has been at the forefront of the LA beat scene for over 30 years. While based in hip-hop, his unique playing style freely crosses over into funk, soul, jazz, disco, and house. He’s previously DJed live for Jaylib, a unit with Madlib and J Dilla, and Black Star, a collaboration between Mos Def and Talib Kweli. He’s also served as an official resident DJ on Dr. Dre’s radio show, making his career run parallel to the history of hip-hop itself.An overwhelming groove that completely changes the atmosphere on the floor, a track selection that effortlessly transcends eras, and a funky vibe that’s brimming with humanity. The performance by the well-known “DJ’s DJ” is sure to leave an unforgettable impact once you experience it. This is a one-night-only special event taking place on the 2nd floor main floor, 4th floor sub-floor, and rooftop. Don’t miss out on this rare night!
